TMJ=TMI

TMJ is what they call the problem of people who grind and clench their teeth. Thus I have it.

TMI means to much info to those of you who don't know how to speak text.

I went to my dentist today who told me that no insurance covers TMJ visits. The dental ins will fight that the medical ins should cover it, and the medical ins will fight that the dental should and neither will so the patient is stuck covering thousands of dollars out of pocket.

I'm so glad to have found a good dentist who warned me about this before I made the appt with the TMJ specialist my med Dr referred me to. He found a company who makes special bite guards for people with high gag reflex that just fit over the front two teeth and they also make a separate daytime bite guard for those extra special people who do it day and night AKA, me.

AND, they both cost less than the previous nighttime only night guard I had made about 4 years ago that I never could wear cause it made me gag. So today, totally productive and its only 10:30am.
